Each chapter and governing council have a unique joining process. Outlined below are the joining details for organizations a part of our three governing councils at bet36365体育.
Interfraternity Council recruitment happens 365 days a year. The recruitment cycle typically restarts each summer leading up to the following academic year. Starting after New Student Enrollment (NSE), chapter members will begin to initiate contact with men who have expressed interest in joining a fraternity. Recruitment activities can include phone calls, hometown visits, cookouts, lake outings, athletic events, etc. These recruitment activities are designed to allow both chapter members and potential members to get acquainted and learn more about one another. Recruitment events will extend into the academic year, with several happening during the first few weeks of the academic year.
If you have questions about how to join, complete the interest form, connect with our staff at NSE, or contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at fsl@poscoop.com.

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) chapters conduct recruitment and intake individually with a process and events specific to each chapter. This process typically begins with informational sessions where potential members can get an overview of each chapter and request a membership application. Once a student has been approved to move forward with the process, he or she will continue their joining and education process with the selected chapter. Once the student has completed their specific educational process, the student will be able to "reveal" themselves as the newest member(s) of that organization.
For additional information regarding MGC chapter recruitment activities, please contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, fill out the FSL Interest Form, and check out each chapter’s social media to learn more about their upcoming events and informational.
